She was predeceased by: her parents, Elvin Chew and Birdie Chew; her husband Clarence Chapman; her daughter Lola Chew-Turner; and her siblings, Ed Chew, Joseph Chew and Helen Fox.
She is survived by: her daughter Florence Chew of Spotsylvania, VA; her granddaughters, Sharron Garnett of Spotsylvania, VA and Lolita Slaughter of Lexington, VA; her great grandchildren, Brooklyn, London, India and Egypt of Lexington, VA; her siblings, Alice Waller of Spotsylvania, VA, Bernice Harris of Spotsylvania, VA, Birdie Bundy (Kenny) of Spotsylvania, VA, Loretta Noel (Oliver) of North Carolina and Walter Chew (Kim) of Spotsylvania, VA; and her siblings-in-law, Carl Fox of Spotsylvania, VA and Carolyn Chew of Spotsylvania, VA. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
