She was predeceased by: her husband Charles E. Tate, Sr.; her son Charles E. Tate, Jr. (Nancy); her granddaughter Tressa L. Tate; her parents, Frank E. Haynes and Bertie M. Haynes; her sister Joyce P. Sellers; her brother-in-law Ralph W. Sellers; her brother Kenneth Haynes; and her sister-in-law Peggy L. Haynes.
She is survived by: her son Dalton R. Tate; her daughter-in-law Nancy Tate; her grandchildren, Charles E. Tate III and Carol D. Rowley; her brother F. Duval Haynes; and her sister-in-law Sue Haynes. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Covenant Funeral Service - Fredericksburg (10830 Patriot Hwy, Fredericksburg, VA 22408). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Sunset Memorial Gardens (3702 Loren Dr, Fredericksburg, VA 22408).
