He is survived by: his children, Debra Frank (Willie) of Baltimore, MD, William Kern (Christine) of Texas, Elwood "Buddy" Kern, Jr. (Bethany) of Partlow, Crystal Furrow of Fredericksburg, Debbie Curry of Maryland and Amber Marrow (David) of Fairfax County; his siblings, Sharon Kern of Maryland, Carrol Bunyea (Hugh) of Maryland, Joyce Dickinson (Eugene) of Maryland, Ralph Kern, Jr. (Sharon) of Maryland, Patricia Leizear (John) of Maryland and Bonnie Billingsley of Maryland; and his grandchildren, Devin, William, Joanna, Bayley and Logan.
