He was predeceased by: his parents, Linwood Talley and Lucille Talley; his son Elwood Linwood Talley, Jr. (Kareena); his grandson Franklin Talley, Jr.; and his siblings, Herbert Talley, Linwood Talley "Junior", Purcell Talley, Mabel Adams, Lillian Nelson and Lula Talley.
He is survived by: his children, Bernice Jackson (Lester), Franklin Talley, Linda Syrkes (Daniel), Willard "Lee" Talley, Tony Herman Talley, Tonya Marie Wilson, Chriskatina Thompson (Al), Elwander Syrkes and Deloris Johnson (Melvin); his siblings, Philip Talley, Deloris Jackson and Hilda Talley; and his close friend David Lewis. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
