It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eleanor Welch Macburney (Fredericksburg, Virginia), who passed away on March 12, 2018, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her daughter Shirley Ann; her parents, Loker Welch and Lillian Welch; her brother Joe Welch; her parent-in-law John MacBurney; and also Hazel MacBurney.
She is survived by: her grandmother Gigi; her husband Robert "Mac" MacBurney; her children, Debra Wilkinson (Gary), Carla Sue Conner (Richard Bradshaw), Barbra Ann Blackburn, Robert MacBurney Jr. and Lynn Vandyke; her son-in-law Lee Brockett; her grandsons, Gene Wilkinson (Nikki), Jesse Wilkinson, Robert Brockett (Katie), Michael Blackburn Jr., Bobby Blackburn and Richard Bradshaw Jr.; her great grandchildren, Landon Wilkinson and Emmett Brockett; her sisters, Shirley Miller, Catherine Welch, Ruth Swann and Charlotte Goldsmith; and her friend Naomi Coakley. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
