With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Edwin R Eckard of Fredericksburg, Virginia, who passed away on May 30, 2023 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his father Walter Edwin Eckard; his wife Ann; his son Harold Eckard; and his siblings, Bill Moats and Anna Cupp.

He is survived by: his daughter Shannon Kent; his son-in-law Gary Kent; his grandsons, Alexx and Jacob Kent; his siblings, Shirley Lohr (June), Gloria Wood (David) and Butch Eckard (Martha); and his brother-in-law Harold Cupp. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and in-laws.
