He was predeceased by: his wife Marcella. He is survived by: his children, Steven Smirco of Fredericksburg, Cheryl Huff (Gary) of Fredericksburg, Susan Smirco and Karen Smirco; his grandchildren, Erin (Lee), Eric, Danielle, Tyler and Andy; and his great grandchildren, Christian, Ayden, Jackie and Marleigh.
