He is survived by: his son Earnley "Ernie" Payne, Jr. (Joyce); his grandchildren, Earnley "Ernie" Payne, III (Brooke), Shelby Payne and Dakota Payne; his great grandchildren, Brayden and Kaylee Payne; his niece Beverly Payne; and his close friend Larry Odham.
