He was predeceased by: his wife Margaret; his siblings, Tim Haynes, Virgie Corey, Cornelia Schiel, Jessie Minter and Lucy Staples; his daughter-in-law Judy Brooks Haynes; his great grandchild Jeffrey Gibson; and his grandson-in-law Chris Smith.
He is survived by: his children, Mark Haynes (Teresa), Amy Powell (Michael), Margaret Nestor (Kenny), Tammy Haynes, Tara Smith, Roy D. Haynes Jr., Victoria Evans, Derek Haynes and Wanda Lynch (Gordon); his granddaughters, Jennifer Harper (Bryan), Lisa Lynch and Lori Stowe (Chris); and his children, Joshua Haynes (Becca), Stephanie Payne (Thomas) and Rebekah Constien (Cody). He is also survived by 27 great grandchildren, 21 great-great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
