She was predeceased by: her husband James W. Merck; her parents, Ronald Rich and Barbara Rich; and her parents-in-law, Joseph and Martha Merck.
She is survived by: her grandson River James; her close friend Steve Donahue; her children, Zachary Merck (Amanda) and Jessica Abbott (Rob); her granddaughter Evelyn; her brother David Rich (Chris); and her siblings-in-law, Joseph Merck (Jack), Donald Merck (late Karen), Barbara Goloski (Kenneth), Martha Grano (late Michael), Joan DiBartolomeo (late John), Susan Diebel (Clarence) and Carol Merck. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
