It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald Richard Sparks of Fredericksburg, Virginia, who passed away on February 21, 2024, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Elizabeth Henline and George Sparks, Sr.; his siblings, George Sparks, Mary Alice Vanderhoof and Louise Apperson; and his son Martin Sparks.
He is survived by: his wife Louise Sparks; his daughter Donnell Pitts (Chuck); his daughter-in-law Susan Sparks; his grandchildren, Kelsey (John Paul) and Everett Pitts (Mariah); and his great grandchildren, Jaiden Zitta and Zoey Zitta. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
