He is survived by : his wife Carman Diane Whiteside; his daughters, Keianna, Brandy, Kirstin and Jasmine; his grandsons, Roshuan and Tyrell; his siblings, Gail, Gilbert, Alice, Mary, Sharon, Terry, Derrick and John; his aunts, Josephine, Ann and Diane; and his uncle Gail. He is also survived by in-laws, other relatives, and many lifelong friends.
