It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Rock of Fredericksburg, Virginia, born in Waynesboro, Pennsylvania, who passed away on June 16, 2021, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Cletus Rock and Catherine Wink Rock; his former wife Stella Jean Halsey Rock; his brother George Rock; and his brother-in-law Jake Monn.
He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Herbert; his daughter Susan Rock Plaster (Gregg); his stepdaughter Tamara Herbert Brown (Bud); his sister Leona Rock Monn; his sister-in-law Sarah Rock; his grandsons, Cody and Sean Plaster; his stepgrandchildren, Joshua McQuade, Meghan McQuade (Andrew), Rebecca Brown Chatman (Marvin), Sarah Brown Sampson (Michael) and Deborah Brown; and his son-in-law Rick McQuade. He is also survived by five step-great-grandchildren.
