It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David E. Pountious of Fredericksburg, Virginia, who passed away on December 30, 2023, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Pountious and Leona Pountious (Harned); his brothers, Wallace and James Pountious; and his sister-in-law Doris (Montgomery).
He is survived by: his great grandchild Madelyn Jackson; his daughter Dana Fularz (Jason) of New Kensington, PA; his stepsons, Brian Rupert of Fredericksburg, VA and Barry Rupert (Carol) of Fort Myers, FL; and his grandchildren, Alex Fularz, Jena Rupert, Malorie Tadimi and Christopher Rupert. He is also survived by great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
