He is survived by: his children, Yvonne Frye, Yvette Frye, De'Atra Christopher (Richard) and Charlie Frye, Jr. (Kisha); his grandchildren, Skylar Frye, Keontae Lewis, Nesha Frye, De'Asia Turner, Darion Holmes, Keaira Courtney (James), Ja'Quan Holmes, Charlie Frye, III, Kamron Frye, Kan'yae Patterson, Kaniyah Patterson and K'Vion Patterson; his great grandchildren, Amir Frye, Kali, Lavontae Darby and Ayla Green; his siblings, Donald Williams (Centra), John Frye, Sr. (Tawana), Arthur Frye (Crystal), Mary Lou Williams, Joycelyn Woodward (Marshall), Shirley Hill (Douglas), Paula Brown (Alvin) and Shelia Wallace (Roland); and his siblings-in-law, Otis Gatling, Jr., Clarence Robinson, Craig Roane, Robert French, Jr., Anna Maddox and Dora Brice.
