It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carolyn Brill Oates (Fredericksburg, Virginia), who passed away on May 23, 2018, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parent Leyburn Brill. She is survived by: her parent Anna Brill; her husband Roland L. Oates; her daughter Linda Ferrara (Scootie); her granddaughters, Stephanie Rollins (Torin), Toni Williams and Nikki Belcher (Daniel); her great grandchildren, Christopher, Jada, Toriana, Jaxon, Aidan, Zavier and Lileigh; and her sister Virginia Lovett (Robert). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Fredericksburg Rescue Squad.
