He was predeceased by: his parents, William and Gladys; and his siblings, Bobby and Peggy. He is survived by: his wife Mary Ann Bishop; and his children, Donald (Lynelle), Deborah, Kenneth Lois (Rodney) and Vicki. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
