He was predeceased by: his parents, Lonnie Wilson and Kathleen Wilson; and his siblings, Billy Wilson, Frank Wilson, Sr., Dorothy Wilson and Priscilla Wilson.
He is survived by: his wife Sandra Wilson; his daughters, Crystal Jennings (Terry) and Dawn Meeks (Al); his stepchildren, Joseph Alford and Karlita Felton; his grandchildren, Al Charles Meeks, IV, Anya Meeks and Tierra Saunders; his great grandchildren, Mylo Meeks and Amayiah Jones; his brother Al Wilson; his sisters-in-law, Bernice Frederick and Maxine Wilson; his nephews, Frank Wilson, Jr. and Michael Lynch; his niece Kimberly Lynch; and his cousin Clarence Campbell. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, family members, and friends.
