Bessie Pierce Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Bessie Pierce of Fredericksburg, Virginia, born in Floyd, Virginia, who passed away on February 10, 2021 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jerome Quesenberry and Jessie Quesenberry; her husband Cecil Pierce; her sisters, Louisa Lindsey, Blanch Farley and Hannah Harris; her sons, David and Raymond; and her son-in-law Randolph Tate.
She is survived by: her brother Carlie Hoover Quesenberry; her sisters-in-law, Rose Jewell and Margie Beales; her children, Marie Tate, Nancy Brown (Bill), Roger (Chrissie) and Rickey; and her daughter-in-law Mary Jane Pierce. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren, 7 great-great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
