Barbara Chalakee Davis Obituary
We are sad to announce that on May 28, 2019, at the age of 78, Barbara Chalakee Davis (Fredericksburg, Virginia) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Robert Harrison Davis; and her siblings, Margie Chalakee, Tom Mix Chalakee, Billy Chalakee and William "Bunky" Chalakee.
She is survived by: her daughters, Mella Griffin of North Carolina, Martha Eichenbaum (Louis) of Spotsylvania County and Roberta Corbin (Chris) of Spotsylvania County; her sisters, Thelma Harjo of New Mexico, Virginia Kolakowski of Oklahoma, Stella Harjo of Oklahoma, Sharon Chalakee of Oklahoma and Donna Bear of Oklahoma; and her grandchildren, John Davis (Nikki), Jonah Fleener, Heather Whitby (Clifton), Joshua Griffin (Amanda), Sydni, Davis Smith-Corbin, Ethan, Lily and Perry Eichenbaum.
In lieu of flowers, Barbara's family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations in her name to the American Diabetes Association at diabetes.org.
