She was predeceased by: her parents, Josiah "Joseph" Powell and Grace Elizabeth Bowling Powell; and her husband Robert Ellis Edwards of Caroline County. She is survived by: her son Robert Wayne Edwards (Melanie); her granddaughter Chelsea Elizabeth Edwards (Dan Knudson); her nieces, JoAnn Ellingsworth, Grace Harper, Debbie Rosser Crickenberger, Donna Rosser Bonacorsi (Floyd) and Dianne Rosser Baker; her great-nieces and great-nephews, Tara Rosser Robinson, Ashley Crickenberger Bowles (Jason), Beverly Blaisdell (Paul), Justin Bonacorsi, Jeremy Bonacorsi, Johnny Jefferson (Julia) and Ricky Perry (Cathy); and also, Izzy, Mak, Maddie, Reese, Liam and Noah.
