It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Annie Ruth Catlett of Fredericksburg, Virginia, born in Spotsylvania, Virginia, who passed away on September 12, 2020, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her brother Joseph; her husband Norman "Stumpy" Catlett of Fredericksburg, VA; her sons, Victor Mario Catlett, Sr. and Quintin Reynard Catlett; her grandson Andre Reynard Catlett; her parents, Joseph Pierce and Annie Bell Pierce; and her brother Ralph Pierce.
She is survived by: her daughter Vanessa Carol (Richard); her sisters, Agnes Hill, Edith Maclin and Shirley Brown; her grandchildren, Cynthia Coleman, Jessica Davis, V. Mario Catlett, Jr., Mark Davis and Stephanie Catlett; her great grandchildren, Cierra and Chase Wormley; her siblings-in-law, Laverne Gantt, Joyce Catlett, Betty Pierce, Clinton Catlett (Maya) and Leon Catlett (Leisa); her daughters-in-law, Marci Catlett and Denise Coleman; her granddaughter-in-law Patrice Catlett; and her pet Summer. She is also survived by her relatives, Annie Ruth was a selfless very supportive wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt, cousin and loyal friend.
