She was predeceased by: her husband Joseph C. Ballard, Jr.; her granddaughter Angela Batt; her parents, Thomas Ennis and Hellene Pemberton; and her siblings, Elsie Curtis (Bobby) and Thomas E. Pemberton, Jr..
She is survived by: her son David Ballard (Patti); her grandson Stephan Batt (Lindsay); her great grandchildren, Ava Batt, Siena Batt, Camden Batt and Gavin Batt; and her sister-in-law Rachel Pemberton. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, January 20th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Covenant Funeral Service - Fredericksburg (10830 Patriot Hwy, Fredericksburg, VA 22408). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Ferry Farm Baptist Church (1 Westmoreland Dr, Fredericksburg, VA 22405). A burial will be held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Sunset Memorial Gardens (3702 Loren Dr, Fredericksburg, VA 22408). A reception will be held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Ferry Farm Baptist Church (1 Westmoreland Dr, Fredericksburg, VA 22405).
