She is survived by: her stepchildren, Angela and Lesa; her husband William P. Burgess; her children, Janet Gray Tobin (Byron), Mell Gray Woodruff (Michael) and Joseph Davenport Gray; and her siblings, Robert Davenport (Diane) and Delores Ellender. She is also survived by five grandchildren.
