He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew P. Taylor and Helen B. Taylor; his wife Phyllis May Taylor (DiMatteo); his son-in-law Steven Ferguson; and his brother Gerald B. Taylor.

He is survived by: his children, Denise Kangas (Roger), Michele Ferguson, Andrew P. Taylor III, Susan Shelton and Kathleen Taylor; his grandchildren, Elizabeth Samuels (Joshua), Christina Gordley (Camron), Steven Ferguson II (Graciela Sierra), Danielle Ferguson, Nathaniel Ferguson, Lindsey Ferguson, Emily Scheufele (Tyler), Alexander Kangas (Nicole) and Dave Bailey; his close friend Sharon Boothe; and his pet Henley.
