He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Lewis Moore Sr. and Gladys Fraughnaugh Moore; his father-in-law Howard Gregory; and his aunt Kate Fraughnaugh. He is survived by: his wife Janet Gregory; his daughters, Sara Kate and Anna; his mother-in-law Sara Gregory; his sister-in-law Susan Hilldrup (Jimmy); his nephews, Jamie Hilldrup (Linda) and Gregory Hilldrup; and his niece Marianna Alzoukani (Ahmad).

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be given to LUCHA Ministries (PO Box 8239, Fredericksburg, VA 22404), Panama Missions Fund (Fundacion Cristiana Medico y Social (FCMS)) via Second Baptist Church (9614 River Road, Richmond, VA 23229), or local church missions ministries.
