It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Amber Leigh Carpenter of Fredericksburg, Virginia, born in Fairfax, Virginia, who passed away on September 4, 2021, at the age of 39, leaving to mourn family and friends. She is survived by: her parents, Jeffrey D. Carpenter of Gladys and Lisa M. Ames of Alexandria; her siblings, Jeffrey S. Carpenter (Anu) of Spotsylvania, Caleb Carpenter (Caitlin) of Beaver Dam and Laura Marks (Chris) of Stafford; her stepsister Kristen Ramsey (Drew) of Cary, N. C.; her stepmother Kathy Carpenter; and her nieces and nephews, Logan, Caleb Jr., Chase, Ty, Jack, Skylie and Lilly.

After she started up her business I had suggested her to my sister in law and brother for my niece, after which she began to help my nephew too. She was the first professor to really inspire me and saw something in me. Years went by and I wish I would have picked up the phone and called like I mentioned several times because she really was a wonderful and inspiring soul.
