She was predeceased by: her parents, Alvin and Ann; and her stepfather Jerry Thomas. She is survived by: her husband Scott; her sons, Jason (Cindy) and Briton (Joanna); her brother George (Dawn); her nephew Joshua; her niece Bailee; and also, Sophia, Travis and Jeremiah.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Food Pantry, care of the church, or Rikki's Refuge Animal Sanctuary 21410 Constitution Hwy, Rapidan VA 22733.
