He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward J. Barrett and Goldie Mae Higgins Barrett; and his brothers, Jerry Barrett and Skip Barrett. He is survived by: his spouse Jenny Jenkins Barrett; his children, Joanna Barrett Cooper (Joe) of Bealeton, VA and Michael Elijah Barrett of Sterling, VA; his siblings, Robert L. Barrett of Winchester, VA and Joan C. Taylor of Alabama; and his grandchildren, Isaac Barrett of Bealeton, Serenity Barrett of Bealeton and Skyelynn Barrett of Bealeton. He is also survived by six step grandchildren; one great granddaughter; and numerous nieces and nephews.
