He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick William Witt and Mabel Markle Witt; his former wife Ernestine E. Witt; his daughter Kathy Elaine Witt; his siblings, Virginia Price and Charles Witt; and his brother-in-law Tucker Price.
He is survived by: his wife Ira Jean Witt; his daughters, Nancy W. Adams (James) and Suzanne W. Reznak; his stepson Michael T. Weaver; his grandchildren, Meredith Elaine Adams, Everett Stephen Adams, Kyle Dalton Reznak and Rebecca Anne Reznak; and his great grandchild Greyson Michael DeMeyere.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Wright Funeral Home (206 W 4th Ave, Franklin, VA 23851). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
The family will receive friends an hour prior to the service in the funeral home and suggests that memorial donations be made to Sycamore Baptist Church.
