He was predeceased by: his mother Pat Clary; and his brother Eddie Phillips. He is survived by: his wife Toni Young Phillips; his daughters, Joanna Phillips Kunz (Todd) of Huntersville, NC and Maryanna Phillips Koehring (Ralph) of Waynesville, NC; his grandchildren, Miller Kunz, Clayton Kunz, Mattie Kunz and Josephine Koehring; his daughters, Louisa Koehring and Gideon Koehring; his brother Charles Phillips (Jane) of Mechanicsville, VA; and his sister-in-law Carol Phillips. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions may be made to High Street United Methodist Church Youth Programs or the Junior Federated Women's Club of Chester.
