He was predeceased by: his parents, Chester Joseph Piersa, Sr. and Annie Marie Groski Piersa; and his siblings, Martha Jackson and Chester "Joey" Piersa, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Janet Mincher Piersa; his children, Shelia Davis (David) and Stanley Piersa, Jr. (Angela); his brothers, Larry Piersa (Teresa) and Billy Piersa (Sharon); his former wife Linda Parker; his grandchildren, Kevin Davis (Chris), Ashley Davis (Justin), Garrett Piersa (David), Makenzie Piersa (Crosby), James Chastain (Desiree) and Austin Chastain (Alex); and his best girls, Hope and Faith.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Wright Funeral Home (206 W 4th Ave, Franklin, VA 23851). A funeral service was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service in the funeral home and suggests that memorial donations be made to Franklin Congregational Christian Church.
