He is survived by: his wife Virgie Faye Rose Ellis; his siblings, Frances E. Richards and William Earl Ellis, Jr. (Loretta); his grandchildren, Darnell, Dakota, Gregory, Sydney and Grant; and his daughter-in-law Mary Ann Vaughan Ellis. He is also survived by three great grandchildren; and aunts, uncles, and cousins.
