It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Scottie Wesson of Franklin, Virginia, born in Richmond, Virginia, who passed away on December 6, 2021, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilson Turnbull Wesson and Dorothy Slayton Wesson; and his son Larry Edward "Wess" Wesson. He is survived by: his wife Sheila Bowles Wesson; his sons, James "Hut" Hutson Wesson (Bekah) and Anthony Scott "Tony" Wesson (Pam); his sisters, Linda B. Tolson (Tom) and Elsie W. Rice (Jim); and his stepchildren, Joseph Lee "Joey" Bowles (Monica), Kelly B. Griffith (Scott), Jamie Bowles and Jody Bowles.
The family suggests that memorial donations be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
