He was predeceased by: his father Jacob Walter Boes; and his brother Bob Boes. He is survived by: his wife Ann Boes; his mother Anna Lane Smith; his daughters, Nichole Modlin and Tara Fleming (Jerry); his siblings, Susan Anderson (Kirk), Patty Moorefield (Steve) and Richard "Dickie" Boes (Cathy); and his grandchildren, Makayla Kerr, Brenden Modlin-Castro, Ayden Kerr, Rayna Kerr, Ava Quidley, Conner Fleming and Camden Modlin.
A memorial service was held on Monday, November 11th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Kingdom Impact Church (26151 Delaware Rd, Franklin, VA 23851).
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial donations be made to your local Humane Society, in honor of Russell's deep love and compassion for animals.
