He was predeceased by: his parents, John Raby Holland and Gracie Saunders Holland; and his pet Toby. He is survived by: his wife Elaine Ricks Holland; his children, Valerie H. Revelle (Keith), Jennifer Marie Holland, Rodney A. Holland (Jen) and Robert V. Holland; his grandchildren, Taylor Revelle (Melinda), Megan Revelle (Tim), Triston Holland and Justin Holland; and his great grandchild Kade Revelle.
