He was predeceased by: his parents, Hunter Jr. Darden and Jean Darden; and his sister-in-law Kathy Darden. He is survived by: his father-in-law Marvin; his wife Cindy; his stepdaughters, Missi Hatfield (Rickey) and Kate Couch (Matt); his grandchildren, Kara Hatfield, Gage Hatfield and Evie Couch; his siblings, Hunter Darden III (Elizabeth) and Sharon Kasper; his nieces and nephews, Hunt Darden (Christii), Daryl Kasper (Lindsay) and Kelle Moore; and his extended family, Keith Harver (Teresa), Duane Harver (Debbie) and Scott Harver (Debbie).
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM at the Wright Funeral Home (206 W 4th Ave, Franklin, VA 23851). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 3:30 PM at the Rosemont Cemetery (18173 Rosemont Rd, Sedley, VA 23878).
