With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Peggy Gibson Stephenson of Franklin, Virginia, born in Washington, North Carolina, who passed away on July 5, 2023 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Mark Virgil and Dorothy Dupree Gibson. She is survived by: her daughter Elizabeth Renee Stephenson; her brother Virgil Gibson; her children, Margaret Kim Stephenson (Kevin), Melissa Worrell (Mike), Scott Stephenson, III and Mark Stephenson (Sara); her siblings, Loretta G. Barber (John) and Joe Gibson (Carol); her grandchildren, Gerreald (Abbie), Kelley, Nicole, Amber, Brantley, Julian, Chris, Alex, Matthew, Luke, Noah, Urijah, Isaiah and Elijah; and her great grandchildren, Mikayla, Taylor, Nova, Landon, Layla, Alaina, Ava and Andrea.
