In the sacred silence of farewell, Olden Douglas is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Olden Douglas' spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Olden Douglas Rogers, Sr. and Bessie Davis Rogers; and his wife Linda Dupree Rogers. He is survived by: his sons, Olden Douglas Rogers, III (Tammy) of St. Petersburg, FL and Charles Allen Dupree "Tank" Rogers of Franklin; and his grandchildren, Augustus Rogers, Cali Adisyn Rogers and Alaina Madisyn Rogers.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service in the church and suggests that memorial donations be made to High Street United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 218 Franklin, VA 23851.
