He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond V. Hudson and Ruby B. Hudson; his wife Essyebelle; his grandchildren, David, Amy and Travis; and his sister Irma Hudson.
He is survived by: his children, Vernon (Judy), Mark, Bobby, Steve and Brenda Morris; and his sisters, Margaret Hodges, Eva Mae Tyree, June Palmer and Patricia Tolbert (Trish). He is also survived by nine grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Redwood United Methodist Church, 3001 Old Franklin Turnpike, Rocky Mount, VA 24151 earmarked in memory of Ned Hudson.
