She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Denson and Jennie Denson; her son George Rainey; her grandsons, Mickey Pitts Jr. and Freddie Drake; and her sister Fannie Bristow.

She is survived by: her children, Wanda Stephenson (Jimmy) of Carrsville, Jacqueline Drake of Courtland, John T. Rainey Jr. (Carolyn) of Blackstone and Michael Rainey (Renee) of Franklin; her grandchildren, Melanie Metzler (Brady), Shannon Steele (Justin), Joseph Drake (Amy), Brandon Pitts (Lindsey), Allen Rainey Jr., Zachary Rainey, Star Drake and Madison Drake; and her great grandchildren, McKenzie, Luke Pitts, Brayden, Keagan, Addilyn Drake, Brooklyn Harrington, Kendyle Metzler and Hannah Steele.
