It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Nancy Harrison Rogers of Franklin, Virginia, born in Alberta, Virginia, who passed away on March 16, 2023, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father Joseph C. Bartley; her former husband Charles "Beefsteak" Harrison; and her siblings, Castella Bartley, Claude Bartley, Jacob Bartley, Susie Bartley and Cynthia "Samp" Bartley.
She is survived by: her husband Ezekiel Rogers of Franklin Virginia; her children, Wilbert Miller Reid Jr. (Sandra) of Petersburg Virginia, Darrell Theodore Reid (Sophia) of Petersburg Virginia, Hannibal Michiah Reid Sr. (Antoinette) of Charlottesville Virginia and Shaneka Bartley of Petersburg; her stepchildren, Lorenzo Whitehead (Alice), Sandra Mytle (John), Jackie Hatch, Patra Battle (Linwood), Rolanda Newson and Breshonda Kester (Daniel) of Franklin; her siblings, Angela Bartley of Dinwiddie, Joseph Bartley (Brenda) and Leroy Mason of Petersburg Virginia; her grandchildren, Treasure Luckett, Hannibal Reid Jr., Jada Reid, Jailyn Daniels, Allahni Reid, Qaadir Reid, Darrell Reid, Trey Dabney, Damir Reid, Michiah Reid, Serenity Pope, Tomarin Pope Jr., Tashaun Bartley, Shamari Bartley and Keonté Bartley; her friend Devote; her nieces, Leslie (Sandy), Cynthia and Shante; and her friends, Vanessa Olajuwon, Naomi White, Bob Jones and Jill Cox. She is also survived by twenty-five grandchildren and great-grandchildren from her Rogers family union and host of nieces and nephews, cousins.
