He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Opherell Butler and Eulalah Minton Butler; and his brothers, W. Lester Butler and Sam O Butler, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Edna Newsom Butler; his son Ronald Marvin Butler (Bonnie) of Franklin; his grandchildren, Kendall Butler (Allison) and Cole Butler; and his cousin Charles Butler.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8PM Monday in the funeral home and suggests that memorial donations be made to Black Creek Baptist Church.
