It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Martha L Bell of Franklin, Virginia, who passed away on December 16, 2020, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her spouse Sheppard C. Bell, Jr.; and her parents, Alfred G. Williams and Robbie Lee Story Williams. She is survived by: her son Sheppard Stanley "Stan" Bell (Terry); her sister Mary Frances "Fran" Hildreth (James); her grandchildren, Sheppard Christopher "Chris" Bell and Elizabeth Johnson "Betsy" Bell; her sister-in-law Peggy Welsh; and her niece Katie Martin.
Memorial donations can be made to Franklin Baptist Church or Southampton Academy.
