He was predeceased by: his parents, Burton Lassiter and Eva Rountree Lassiter; and his siblings, George Lassiter, William "Alex" Lassiter and Angela Louise Wolff.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Lassiter; his daughter Carol; his son-in-law Paul Ellis; his granddaughter Crystal Ellis Brinkley (Justin); his great grandchild Braxton Ellis Ward; and his sister Margaret Aston. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and friends.
