He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymon Lee Tillett and Janie Gregory Tillett; and his sister Dolores T. Whitley. He is survived by: his wife Adeline Harcum Tillett; his sons, Michael W. Tillett (Michelle) of Franklin, Mark E. Tillett (Teri) of Kitty Hawk, NC and Jason E. Tillett of Courtland; his grandchildren, Courtney Tillett, Gray Tillett, Bill Cones, Taylor Tillett, Meagan T. Barber (Roclun) and Miranda Tillett; his great grandchildren, Gianna, Mackenzie and Kynlee; and his brother-in-law James D. "Bunk" Whitley of Franklin.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service in the funeral home and suggests that memorial donations be made to Burdette Baptist Church or the Bland Ministry Center, P. O. Box 211, Bland, VA 24315.
