He was predeceased by: his parents, Junious Ferguson and Mrytle Whitfield Ferguson; his daughters, Vanessa Wells Moss (Pete Moss) and Arethia Annette Ferguson Leigh (Josh Leigh); and his brother Solomon T. Ferguson.
He is survived by: his wife Dianette Hargrove Ferguson; his children, Sheryl Freeman, Victoria Baker, Gustinia Ferguson-Phillips, Vernetta Vines and Christopher Freeman; his sister Elaine Thornton; his grandchildren, Jonetta Hale, Jaeda Hale, Zarion Clark, TaMyra Freeman, Brandon L. Ferguson (Alecia), Joshua T. Leigh, Joseph Ferguson, Danyell Grant, Danah Grant, Carla White, Carl Grant Jr., Corey and BJ Wells; and his brothers-in-law, Roger C. Hargrove and James A. Hargrove (Bernadette). He is also survived by eight great grandchildren.
Viewing was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM, on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM and from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Apostolic Faith Church of God (608 Oak St, Franklin, VA 23851).
