He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Carpenter and Susie Duck Carpenter; his wife Betty Marie Barmer Carpenter; his son Jonas P. Carpenter, Jr.; and his siblings, Estelle C. Edwards, Joe, George, Reuben and Ernest Carpenter.
He is survived by: his son Christopher Noel Carpenter; his brother Mack H. Carpenter (Connie); and his grandchildren, J. C. III, Brittany, Zachary, Tiffany and Angel.
The family will receive friends at the Funeral Home one hour prior to the service and suggests memorial donations be made to any favorite charity.
