She was predeceased by: her husband Aaron Giles; her parents, Charles Freels and Pearl Freels; her son Corey Giles; her sister Juanita Hatfield; and her brothers-in-law, Joseph Hatfield, James Gallaher and John Lamb.
She is survived by: her sons, Joel Giles of Evergreen and Jon Giles of New York City; her sisters, Geraldine Gallaher of Knoxville and Carol Lamb of Oak Ridge, Tennessee; her sisters-in-law, Janet Coyle (Harold) of Dover and Marlene Brick of Columbus, Ohio; and also Angie McCauley. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
