With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jean Howell Drewry of Franklin, Virginia, born in Isle of Wight, Virginia, who passed away on October 31, 2023 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Linwood Nelson Howell and Margaret Ann Butler Howell; her son Michael Nelson Ballard; her siblings, Elizabeth Cutchins, Marjorie Whitley and James L. Howell; and her son-in-law Kenny Coggsdale.
She is survived by: her daughter Lorrie Coggsdale (Doug Anthony) of Suffolk; her sister Audrey Jenkins (John) of Carrsville; her grandchildren, Zach Coggsdale (Michelle), Jacob Coggsdale (Kelsie) and Maggie Coggsdale; her great grandchildren, Sofia and Ben Coggsdale; and her friend Tammy Newsom.
The family suggests that memorial donations be made to CHKD Hematology Oncology Division, 601 Children's Lane, Norfolk, VA 23507.
